Grand Rapids, MI (prHWY.com) February 9, 2012 - East Grand Rapids High School graduate, Chantal K. Hoey-Sanders, is thrilled to announce the release of her new book, I Have Fibromyalgia, but it Doesn't Have Me!: Six Steps to Reversing FMS/CFS, A Memoir. This book is part self-help and part memoir. It gives Hoey-Sanders' personal testimony of how she has struggled and triumphed with fibromyalgia and how the Guaifenesin Treatment Protocol has helped her.

Readers will gain inspiration and insight through the heartfelt story of hope that discusses her last eight years on the protocol. Hoey-Sanders also shares life experiences from both before and after her diagnosis. This book is not only full of encouragement, tips and advice, but the memoir element also makes it a pleasurable read.

Claudia Marek, co-author of What Your Doctor May Not Tell You about Fibromyalgia states, "I know firsthand the power of shared experiences on recovery and know that reading the book will make a difference to so many."

When asked what inspired her to write the book, Hoey-Sanders replied, "My goal in sharing my fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue story is to show that hope is here, even when your world looks grim and you feel completely isolated and out of control. I am living proof of it. I went from bedridden to better--and you can, too."

Kris Bruinsma, a fibromyalgia survivor, refers to the book as "a must-read." She says, "Chantal's book will bring you hope, insightful tips and positive results. This amazing book has changed my Fibromyalgia life."

I Have Fibromyalgia/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome but it Doesn't Have Me! may be purchased online through Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble.com, or the Balboa Press Web site.
