George Serel rented 125 homes to section 8 in Nassau County from 2001 to 2008.George Serel, at the age of 22, successfully opened the first Phonograph record pressing plant in New York City in 1976.

George Serel, a Master in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Rutgers University-Newark, NJ in 1976, owned and operated S&K Properties that specializes in purchase, renovation and resale of foreclosed homes, for over 20 years.

George Serel also ran in the 5 mile beach race, Fire Island in 1985. Not a long time back, he also donated to Cancer care.
