This rapidly growing sport may give you an adrenalin rush you have never experienced before. With one of our powerkite lessons we can assure that you will be flying within half an hour!
Based in Worcester, West Midlands, eXtreme Kite Shop is a recognized kite school with a unique 300 acre dedicated kite field at the heart of England. Our powerkite courses are suitable for both beginners and intermediate kite flyers. Our inland kite school offers lessons all year round. Courses vary from half an hour taster sessions to full day lessons. Best of it all is you do not need any experience at all.
Taster Session
This is a great way to get a taste for the sport. The course is only half an hour but it is long enough to teach you how to fly power kites! You can expect to learn how to fly, steer and land your kite by the end of the session.
Half Day Power Kite Lesson
As well as the techniques covered in the taster session, with our half day power kite lesson, you learn more advanced flying techniques such as reverse launching, brake turns and 360 degree turns.
Half Day Kite Buggy Lesson
Once you have basic flying skills, we can then teach you how to use those skills on a buggy. The 3 hour power kite course will give you enough skills to get you buggy across the wind. turn around and get back to where you started.
Half Day Landboarding Lesson
Kite landboarding requires more time to master than kite buggying. This is because unlike buggying, standing on a 4 wheeled landboard requires a bit of balance. But do not worry about that as your instructor will give you the right tips on how to overcome this issue.
How Much Does It Cost?
Our kite lessons cost as little as £15! The prices include all the kite and safety equipment you need during the course. All our kite courses are run by qualified instructors
* Power Kite Taster Lesson: Half an hour @ £15
* Half Day Power Kite Lesson: 3 hours @ £59
* Half Day Buggy Lesson: 3 hours @ £59
* Half Day Landboard Lesson: 3 hours @ £59
Facilities:
Our kite shop is located right next to our 300 acre dedicated kite field. The facilities include onsite kite shop with drinks machine, toilets, showers and free car parking. We are open 6 days a week including weekends from 10am till 5pm. Although our winter opening times may b different.
