Singapore, Singapore (prHWY.com) December 12, 2011 - Following the success of the innovative Scoliosis tracking application, ScolioTrack, Dr. Kevin Lau, author of "Your Plan for Natural Scoliosis Prevention and Treatment - Health in Your Hands", has announced the release of an updated version 3.0 of the app. The new version is designed to be more user-friendly and efficient. It will allow patients, with any level of technological knowledge, to safely and conveniently track and monitor their scoliosis at home.

Elaborating on the changes in ScolioTrack 3.0, Dr. Lau said, "If the patient has scoliosis, it doesn't mean that he or she would know how to track and monitor it using the doctor's device. Similarly, if they have an iPhone, it doesn't imply that they are tech savvy. Therefore, we aim to keep our app useable and useful for almost everyone, and our efforts would be instantly apparent in the enhanced interface, help pages and new animated tutorial."

The application works by recording height, weight and photographic data of the user, and keeps track of the patient's Angle of Trunk Rotation (ATR), a standard measurement for scoliosis used by doctors around the world. The application was highly praised for offering a safe and easy-to-use DIY tool, similar to the Scoliometer used by physicians. The upgraded app features a better camera interface allowing for a more accurate posture analysis. Facilitating the ease of use, a grid is also provided in order to help monitor postural changes such as uneven shoulder levels, pelvis imbalance, rib hump and curvature in spine.

Other added features of ScolioTrack 3.0 include Facebook, Twitter and YouTube site links, improved newsfeeds and a more efficient news aggregator pulling the latest news and research on Scoliosis. This makes it equally helpful for fitness trainers and experts. Dr. Lau stressed his efforts to make the application feasible and usable for every Scoliosis patient around the world. "Not only we have kept the price unbelievably affordable, we also have six different language options including Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, German and French," added Dr. Lau.

On this occasion, Dr. Kevin Lau also announced the launch of a new website www.ScolioTrack.com. The website is dedicated to the Scoliosis support team and features elaborate FAQs. A lite version of ScolioTrack Lite 3.0 is also available for 0.99c and can be upgraded at anytime to the FULL version using in app purchase to unlock the full functionality of the app. Users interested in the full version can upgrade for just $7.99USD.
