Working alongside a major food manufacturer in the UK it was found that conventional washing did not remove contamination from the inside and outside of the tin. By immersing the tins in a detergent and applying ultrasound the contaminants, carbon, fat etc were removed.

The ultrasonic tin washer is designed to clean multiple tins of varying size at a time. All utilising Caresonic's state of the art ultrasonic technology and with the added benefit of bacterial kill that ultrasound offers.

The system is installed with automatic handling of a full basket of tin taking the basket through an ultrasonic wash and agitated rinse cycle.

Systems can be supplied in any size and are generally purpose built to meet individual customer requirements. A full range of detergents are also available to suit various problems.

This new applications compliments Caresonic's existing equipment in the food industry which are used for cleaning cutting blades, process equipment, stainless steel conveyors, chain mail gloves and aprons. Plus equipment for particle disintegration and homogenising.
