British furniture manufacturers are upping up the ante on the quality of their goods by establishing the Furniture Makers Sustainability award.

The award is administered by FIRA International. The award aims to recognize the sustainability efforts of manufacturers to create high quality furniture currently, 65 companies are eligible for the said award and entries will be accepted until the last week of November. Such efforts to uplift the level of craftsmanship using sustainable materials are highly lauded across the furniture industry across the world.
