Packingsolutions.com.au Educates Individuals on What not to Pack in Moving Boxes to put on the Truck
When men and women begin the process of packing up their home, most likely they are in a "throw it all in a box and deal with it later" mood

Not everything in the homes should be put in moving boxes. There are a number of items that movers are not allowed to put on their moving trucks due to regulations and rules that prohibit it. Here are some of the items that should not go into boxes for moving or be placed on a truck in general.
First and foremost, professional moving companies will not place removal boxes filled with hazardous materials on the truck. These need to be disposed of properly. It is illegal for moving companies to carry these items. Anything that is explosive, flammable, and corrosive cannot be placed in cartons and put on the truck. This includes everything from batteries and cleaning fluids, to liquid bleach, loaded weapons, propane tanks, paints, and even nail polish remover. Individuals need either to move these themselves in their car, give them away, or throw them out. Do not wrap them up in bubble wrap and hide them in moving boxes. If caught, it can be a severe fine.
Perishable items should also not be placed on the moving truck. Perishable food items, plants, and animals should not be placed in the moving truck. The moving truck does not have the right temperature settings to house these items. Most likely, these items will spoil get damaged or even die. While it sounds somewhat crazy that individuals would like to put their pet on the moving truck, it has happened in the past that individuals have asked. The answer is NO. Individuals will need to transport these items themselves. Moving trucks will only take plants and perishable food items (again, not pets) if the moving distance is less than 150 miles and it can be traveled to in less than 24 hours. However, if the movers are going to transport these items, have them packed properly. The last thing a mover wants to deal with is a spilled plant in the back of their truck that left a mess of dirt all over the boxes and the truck floor.
