Atlanta, Georgia - November 1, 2011 - Eberly & Associates have been working in the multifamily housing sector for close to 30 years. Civil and landscape architecture services have been sought throughout the state of Georgia and the Southeast.

Eberly & Associates recently completed the sustainable housing project Arcadia at Parkwood Village in Fairburn, Georgia. civil engineering services and landscape architecture services were provided for a 152 unit apartment complex. Services included design of drives, parking and storm water management facility; plus permitting through the City of Fairburn jurisdiction. "The civil engineer's role is the same in building apartments; whether tax-credit or market rate. The civil engineer has to prepare the site sustainable construction drawings in coordination with the selected Architect; and ensure that site grading, drainage, utilities and accessibility is met for the apartment units and amenity areas" remarked President Dan Eberly. The pricing issues that are apparent with market rate apartments have to do more with trying to get the best product on the market for the best value. Since the rental rates are expected to be what the market can handle (and not necessarily the cheapest), then we have to find the most efficient way to not make the sitework too expensive while keeping money in the project for the buildings and amenities.
