Northshore Magazine Increases Production to Eight Issues per Year Beginning with Upcoming Holiday Issue

Published eight times per year by Andover-based RMS Media Group, Northshore magazine is a regional lifestyle magazine exclusively for the North Shore of Massachusetts.

Boston, MN (prHWY.com) October 25, 2011 - (Boston, MA) - Northshore magazine, a regional lifestyle magazine for the North Shore of Boston, Massachusetts, announces an increase in production from six to eight issues per year. Starting with the upcoming Holiday issue, now there is more of Northshore for the North Shore.

For more than six years, Andover-based custom publisher RMS Media Group has produced Northshore, first as a quarterly controlled-subscription publication. Today it is a 150+ page lifestyle magazine published eight times a year and available on newsstands or via subscription.

Adds Rick Sedler, RMS Media Group president and publisher of Northshore, "We have been fortunate to have maintained a steady page-count increase for the last several years. Our growth is based largely on increased advertising sales revenues. This affords us the opportunity to create more features with beautiful photo shoots from around the North Shore. Further, there has been demand for additional issues from both our readers and our advertisers."

In addition, the publication has hit its advertising, circulation, and production targets for the past three years, and the Best of the North Shore (BONS) 2011 issue was the publication's most successful issue to date, in terms of ad revenue.

Comments Sedler, "We didn't cut our budget, or any staff, during the economic recession, but rather expanded our team to pick up key players available in a tough economy. The move to increase budget was a risky and bold one, but clearly this strategy has paid-off for our team, our advertisers, and our readers."

Beyond the print pages, the magazine has extended its presence online, incorporating dynamic web content into its mix. It also promotes and supports numerous non-profits and community events throughout the year, including, most recently, Topsfield Fair, Newburyport Yankee Homecoming, Walk to End Alzheimer's, and many more.
