Why Getin2China Thinks Now is The Time to Travel
Getin2China has been in business since 2007 and has helped literally thousands of students learn Chinese in China while they perform internships with Chinese companies.

"Because of the state of the global economy, jobs are even harder to come by. In the past, you could complete your education and that would be enough to help you land an entry-level job at almost any company. Now, that's just no longer true. Students need to look for ways to help them stand out in this tough job market, and we think that internships are the answer," Yuri Khlystov says.
During the internship, a student is given the chance to perform basic work tasks in a professional environment. "Students figure out how to do basic things, of course, but they also learn how businesses work: They figure out how to dress, how to act, what to say and what not to say. This can help them appear so much more professional during their job interviews," Yuri Khlystov says.
Doing an internship with a company in China can have added benefits. "Knowing a bit about how business works in another country can allow you to land some incredibly interesting jobs. Companies are just figuring out how to reach across to the huge Chinese market, and walking into a job with a bit of Chinese experience could really help the company get ahead. You might even have connections you could use in your job, allowing you to rise to the top of management much quicker," Yuri Khlystov says.
Now is also a great time to see the sights in China. "The government invested a lot of money in public transportation and infrastructure as a result of the Olympics. The new buildings, such as the Bird's Nest, are just breathtaking and you really can't appreciate them until you see them in person. Plus, the improvements in public transportation that were made as a result of the Olympics make it very easy to get around in Beijing right now," Yuri Khlystov says.
