Houston, TX (prHWY.com) October 4, 2011 - My Trendy Place is holding a Wig and Fashion Swap Party on October 15th this year. Attendees will be able to receive swap coupons for human hair wigs, clothing, shoes and fashion accessories. They can then use the coupons to make other selections from the items at the event.

A $5 donation will be taken at the door and all proceeds from the Wig Swap event will go to the Woodlands Women's Shelter. The Wig and Fashion Swap Party will take place inHoustonat10350 South Post Oak Road, from 1pm to 3pm. People wishing to attend are encouraged to RSVP at www.FashionistaHypeParty.Eventbrite.com.

Clothing brought in should be clean and pressed, and it should be stylish. Wigs need to be made of human hair. Patrons who place accessories in separate plastic bags and shoes in shoe boxes will help the Wig Swap run smoothly. Of course, all items must be new or only gently used. Worn out, unclean or unfashionable items will be refused at the door.

Lisa Amosu, owner of My Trendy Place, regularly plans events to cater to her clientele and reach out to the community. The Wig and Fashion Swap is just one more way My Trendy Place is making an impact in the world.

Amosu said, "Along with the proceeds we will be donating to the women's shelter, we will also be sending them all the fashion and wig items that are leftover. It will be a fun and rewarding day for everyone involved."

Amosu will be available to price services such as cleaning and hair replacement for wigs. This professional wig processing serves to make the wigs as fresh and beautiful as possible. Thus, party-goers will have an experience more like getting a new wig.

My Trendy Place is also the home of new Houston Lace Front Wigs. Amosu especially enjoys helping people who have lost hair due to medical reasons. The Houston Lace Front Wigs website details the appropriate types of wigs available for people in these times of need.

Yet, wigs can be desirable for anyone who wants a new look. At My Trendy Place in Houston, there are plenty of options and skilled stylists to help apply the wigs. The Wig Swap Party will give My Trendy Place a chance to familiarize Houston residents and visitors with the benefits and details of purchasing a wig.

The Wig and Fashion Swap at My Trendy Place is a reason to celebrate and have fun. It is an opportunity to make use of unwanted clothing and wigs. It is a way to expand a wardrobe or get a needed wig or hairpiece. The Woodlands Women's Shelter will benefit as well. In the end, everyone wins.
