A Hewlett Packard customer found a solution to an HP 1010 driver issue through some research and a little innovation.
After HP failed to offer an HP 1010 driver for the popular printer after Windows 7 launched in October 2010, customers scrambled to find a solution online.
"There are over 60,000 searches a month on Google for a solution to this issue, said Jeff Newton, "and I found the solution that will allow their HP 1010 printer to work with Windows 7."
Newton said he researched many of the HP 1010 driver forums to find a solution to the HP 1010 driver issue with Windows 7, but according to his website, hp1010windows7.com: "There were several solutions posted, however they either did not work or they quit working after a short period of time."
After finding a solution to the HP 1010 driver issue and sharing it on his website, many of his customers were surprised and thrilled that they could keep their same printer and run the new Microsoft operating system, Windows 7 on their computer.
"I was going to buy a new printer this weekend to replace my HP 1010. It hasn't worked ever since I upgraded to Windows 7," Shelly Onge said, "but now that I found this solution I can keep my HP 1010 printer and save some money."
According to hp1010windows7.com, some customers spend months looking for a substitute for an HP 1010 driver. Su Hange said, "I have been looking for a solution for over a month. I found many sites that claimed to have a working solution, but none of them worked on my computer. HP1010windows7.com's detailed instructions took me less that five minutes to do and my HP 1010 is now running on my Win 7 computer perfectly."
Newton says he spent much of his own time and research solving the problem to this HP 1010 driver issue that HP failed to provide to their customers. Because the printer works so well, he didn't want to buy a new one and start all over again.
"I came up with a permanent solution that works like a dream. My HP 1010 is now running perfectly on Windows 7. I do not experience any of the slow printing problems that some of the solutions talked about, he said, "I think I have the perfect work around for the driver problem."
Newton is confident that the non-existent HP 1010 driver isn't stopping him from using his favorite printer, and it should stop you from using yours. Check out his solution on HP1010windows7.com where you can read the client testimonials yourself.
