London, United Kingdom (prHWY.com) August 8, 2011 - When people think of Ibiza most would automatically associate clubbing, crazy nightlife, hotels full of young Brits, activities which include insane amounts of alcohol and your stereotypical sunburnt British tourist lazing on Bora Bora beach all day as quintessential Ibiza. However, Ibiza has so much more to offer than just clubs, beaches and bars.

On offer this summer in Ibiza are events which take in alternative music, fashion, art, aquatics, equestrian activities and a whole host more.

Why not kill two birds with one stone and appreciate some live music with a bit of culture thrown in at the Urban in Ibiza event? Held at the Atzaro Hotel on 11th of August, visitors can enjoy a fabulous showcase of urban art and graffiti as well as get creative themselves with live street art workshops. Urban in Ibiza also celebrates art in fashion - you just need to sit back with your favourite drink and watch the catwalk to a live music soundtrack - with artists including superstar DJ, Goldie as well as some unsigned talent hitting the decks.

Ibiza's artistic offering doesn't stop there. Night time 'Hippy' markets crop up all over the island, with the largest being Las Dalias in San Carlos. Ibiza's artistic roots date back to a flurry of artisans coming to the island in the 1960s, and these markets display the very best of their wares. Satisfy your shopping demon with clothing, crafts, jewellery and artefacts.

Got kids? Then take in some of the scenery of this beautiful island by horseback for an activity the whole family can enjoy. Can Mayol in Santa Eulalia offer family and group packages for long rides through Ibiza woodlands.

Lastly, get your pirate hat on and visit an Old Smuggler's cove at Aquarium Cap Blanc - a marine aquarium where you can see aquatic species typical of Ibiza in their natural habitat. The old cave plays home to lobsters, moray and conger eels, rays and grouper fish in abundance!
