Delhi, India (prHWY.com) June 27, 2011 - Uttarakhand government while refuting allegations by the opposition Congress said that Nitin Gadkari the BJP President and his family bore the entire expenditure of their Char Dham Yatra in the state.

As per Devendra Bhasin, chairman of state media advisory committee, Gadkari and his family commenced the char dham yatra by helicopter for which they paid the rent and also they met with the hotel expenses during their visit.

Rejecting the baseless allegations of the Congress Bhasin also told that Uttarakhand Govt. incurred no expenditure on Chardham yatra of Gadkari and his family, whereas accusing the BJP Government Congress MLA Kishore Upadhyay and Lok Sabha MP Vijay Bahuguna said that BJP party spending public money on visits of their leaders.

"The Congress leaders should have inquired the matter first before leveling such allegations as they have hurt the personal faith of the BJP leader," added Bhasin. He also believes that when ever a person commences a pilgrimage tours they spend their own money as here is the question of their faith.
