Prometric to partner MeritTrac & Everonn for CAT 2010

Prometric, the testing agency which will conduct the computer based CAT 2010 has selected the delivery partners of CAT 2010. MeritTrac Services and Everonn Education have been selected as the delivery partners of CAT 2010 by Prometric.

Noida, India (prHWY.com) August 7, 2010 - Prometric, the testing agency which will conduct the computer based CAT 2010 has selected MeritTrac Services and Everonn Education as the delivery partners of CAT 2010. "Both partners were selected after a thorough evaluation process based on their responses to our Request for Proposal," Prometric mentions.
Both MeritTrac and Everonn are experienced players in the testing industry. "They will work closely with us for the preparation of testing venues, as well as the administration of the CAT 2010. In addition to tightening the processes for site readiness and training, Prometric will also be implementing a longer test site preparation period," informs Prometric.
Everonn is an existing test delivery partner of Prometric's IT certification business and MeritTrac has a positive track record of conducting exams in India. Prometric feels that both these partners bring with them competency in testing logistics and manpower.
In CAT 2009, the first computer based CAT exam organized by IIMs, NIIT was the delivery partner for Prometric. For CAT 2010, Prometric and NIIT mutually decided not to be associated as far as CAT 2010 is concerned. "Though NIIT is a valued partner for us but we have decided not to work together for CAT 2010 and that does not change our relations," mentioned Soumitra Ray, MD, Prometric India in an earlier conversation with MBAUniverse.com.
CAT 2010 is scheduled to be held in a 20 day testing window starting from October 27, 2010 to November 23, 2010. The test will be held across 32 cities in India. The official notification of CAT 2010 will be announced on Sunday, August 29, 2010.
