Double Dhamaal: A preview

Double Dhamaal is a sequel to the 2007 film, Dhamaal. Most of the stars of the prequel have been retained in the latest venture, only with Bollywood actresses Mallika Sherawat and Kangna Ranaut. The film is directed by Indra Kumar.

Mumbai, India (prHWY.com) May 26, 2011 - Double Dhamaal is yet another bollywood comedy that will be in theatres on 24yh June to entertain audiences. The film is a sequel to the 2007 film, Dhamaal that had Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Aashish Chaudhury, Jaaved Jafferi and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. The stellar cast has been retained in the sequel which will have Satish Kaushik, Mallika Sherawat and Kangna Ranaut in additional roles. Mallika Sherawat will be seen in an item number titled Jalebi Bhai. Well known choreographer, Ganesh Hegde has choreographed the songs for the film. Bollywood music composer, Anand Raj Anand has created the music for this film, while the lyrics have been penned by Bohemia. The directors of the film have bought the rights of the song, Oye Oye (Tirchi Topiwaley) from the film Tridev and will be remade before it becomes a part of the film.

Double Dhamaal is directed by Indra Kumar who is also the producer of the film jointly with Ashok Thakeria. The film has been shot in Mehboob Studios in Mumbai, Hong Kong and Mauritius. The four actors Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Aashish Chaudhary and Jaaved Jaaferi will again be seen as friends as in the prequel, while Sanjay Dutt will play the role of a millionaire instead of a cop. The film has Arshad Warsi as a sikh named Ghanta Singh, while Jaaved Jaaferi will play his younger brother. Ritesh Deshmukh will be seen in a triple-role for the first time in his career. His three different roles are that of 'Roy, a Chinese detective named 'Lee', and the third being a Mauritius gangster called Heera Bhai. Jaaved Jafferi's role is yet to be disclosed. Also, Anil Kapoor and Aamir Khan are rumored to be appearing in special guest roles.
