Fun New Site for Kids Helps Foster Creativity, Artistic Expression
Innovative media site Nani Nani Kids provides a broad assortment of free resources for children.

Some have argued that these classes are "frivolous," especially in an educational environment when all focus falls squarely on standardized tests. This may seem a logical conclusion, until one also considers that creative activities are essential to development. And let's not forget that a very large percentage of secure, well-paying jobs in the West are jobs in creative fields. A primary education system that prepares children and young adults to be line workers isn't very effective in a country that doesn't have many of those positions to fill.
Parents who recognize this fact - or those who simply want to foster their child's creative talents and freedom of artistic expression - are eagerly reaching out for ways to bring the arts back into the fold. For most, this means seeking out private instruction. Unfortunately, this leaves a very large segment of the population with their hands tied, as so many families can't spare the time or the money for such activities.
This gap is one reason why Shani Bernard has set out to create "Nani Nani Kids," a website and online resource that's full of creative activities, instructional videos, and artistic guidance for kids and parents. Bernard believes in the importance of creative expression, and likewise, she knows just how critical it is a child's development to encourage that expression from a young age.
