Worldwide Power Products Launches Agent Program to Reach International Customers

Worldwide Power Products, a power-generation equipment provider to industrial clients worldwide, announced it has launched a new program designed to provide on-the-ground, dedicated sales and service to its growing list of international customers.

Houston, TX (prHWY.com) March 25, 2013 - Worldwide Power Products (WPP), a power-generation equipment provider to industrial clients worldwide, announced it has launched a new program designed to provide on-the-ground, dedicated sales and service to its growing list of international customers. WPP is launching the program first in Latin America, where Marcello Lo Cicero will serve as Director of Latin American Operations.

"International firms are increasingly recognizing the benefits of readily available new surplus and used generators and industrial engines from Worldwide Power Products, and we sell more power equipment globally than we do in the U.S.," said WPP Executive VP Mark Lum. "However, until now, the majority of our international customers have had to find us. With our new agent program, we'll have on-the-ground representatives that can reach out to the many firms who will benefit from our equipment." With the first program launching in Latin America, Lo Cicero will be actively recruiting, hiring and training new agents in the countries of that region. The training these new partners receive will ensure they extend WPP's customary service excellence when working with the clients to whom they sell WPP's power equipment.

Lo Cicero, who has more than 17 years in the construction, power and industrial sectors, has broad international experience in developing new businesses, markets and distribution channels. Before joining WPP, Lo Cicero worked as Director of Operations in the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America for Aggreko, the world's largest power products rental company, where he managed a $150 million power production distribution channel. Previous to Aggreko, Marcello was a territory manager at Caterpillar Inc. for Europe, Latin America and Eastern USA.
