Entrepreneur Elvira Grau Featured as "Event Planner" on The Real Housewives of New Jersey

Creator and proprietor of SPACE ODYSSEY USA in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and newly-launched SPACE PORT in Paterson, New Jersey, Elvira Grau will be featured in six upcoming episodes of the popular show "The Real Housewives of New Jersey."

Englewood Cliffs, NJ (prHWY.com) February 13, 2010 - The creator and proprietor of SPACE ODYSSEY USA - Family Entertainment Center in Englewood, New Jersey and the newly launched SPACE PORT in Paterson, New Jersey, Elvira Grau, has not only created the "The Hottest Entertainment Venues in New Jersey" but she's now also on the small screen. Grau's many talents are displayed in six upcoming episodes of the popular show "The Real Housewives of New Jersey." She is featured as the event producer for Housewife Theresa's Giudice child's 5th birthday party as the first birthday party event at Grau's newly-launched space, Space Port in Paterson, NJ. Grau was also the event planner for Giudice's housewarming party at their private home with over one hundred guests!

Grau has recently launched SPACE PORT in Paterson, NJ, bringing jobs back to the depressed downtown area. This was featured on the cover of The Record Newspaper in the Employment section and quoted as "the economic engine of Paterson & part of the revival". This entrepreneur, mother-of-two & two step-kids, wife and philanthropist is working with the Mayor of Paterson and area schools to bring fun to an area that has seen its share of despair and hopelessness. Grau believes that SPACE PORT will help to resurrect a city by breathing in new life and creating a venue that all can enjoy.

Grau's first venue, SPACE ODYSSEY USA, was created by transforming a dingy old warehouse in 2005. It features a galaxy of fun for people of all ages, offering activities from laser tag and bowling to the latest in arcades. SPACE ODYSSEY USA also hosts some of the biggest and most outrageous celebrity events, birthday parties and bar/bat mitzvah celebrations. With her husband, Emmy award winning television producer Jim by her side, Grau turned her extensive career in marketing and public relations into an innovative concept and business that continues to grow particularly during these difficult times.

Grau has also faced many challenges in her life. As a Russian/Jewish nine year-old girl immigrating to the United States with her parents, grandparents and an older brother from the Ukraine, she mastered a new land and learned English while growing up in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. She went on to pursue a career in Advertising Sales, Marketing & Public Relations. Grau has also in the past handled Fortune 500 clients such Met Life, AT&T and MCI. However, she has now found more excitement outside of the corporate world. Running her own company allows her to feed both her entrepreneurial side and philanthropic side. In addition to the economic lift she is giving downtown Paterson, Grau hosts an annual Halloween Party at SPACE ODYSSEY USA. Proceeds from the event go to a designated charity.
