Chana futures up 0.75 pc on better spot demand
Chana prices rose by Rs 25 to Rs 3,358 per quintal in futures trade as speculators enlarged their positions on rising demand in the spot market. Restricted arrivals in the physical market also influenced the chana prices at futures trade. At the National Commodity Derivatives Exchange, chana for May contract rose Rs 25, or 0.75 per cent to Rs 3,358 per quintal with an open interest of 47,320 lots
