Debbie commented on her motivation to establish Belle A Vie; "It was never my intention to set up a website, but when designing interiors, I realised that the part I enjoyed most was sourcing products". Products are sourced through hours and hours worth of foot-work, through Debbie's regular visits to trade fairs and she stays on top of the latest trends in vintage shabby chic accessories, home gifts and home interior accessories through regular research.

As well as a range of vintage shabby chic accessories, home gifts, home interior accessories and vintage kitchen accessories, the company has also incorporated modern design into Belle La Vie as, according to Debbie, mixing modern with vintage and shabby chic can result in a fabulous look for any home.

In addition to the online store, the company intends to open a shop selling the same range of vintage shabby chic accessories, home gifts, home interior accessories and vintage kitchen accessories and is currently sourcing premises in a suitable area.
