Celebrity Chef Maria Liberati Selected as a Celebrity Judge

Celebrity Chef and Award Winning Author Maria Liberati selected as a celebrity judge, for what will be a fusion of cuisines, at the Pearl S. Buck Historic Site for the annual "Taste of World 2013" cooking competition.

Bucks County, PA 2013: Bucks County will become a little more lively May 17, 2013, when hundreds of people gather together at the Pearl S. Buck National Historic Site for the "Taste of the World 2013" cooking competition, bringing in top of the line culinary artistry and cuisine extraordinaire.

In its 9th year, "Taste of the World" has been an annual sellout event, bringing together a high profile audience, over two dozen of the area's premier food and beverage purveyors, and celebrity judges, most based out of Philadelphia. The judging positions will go to Chef Maria Liberati, an award winning author of her book series and blog "The Basic Art of Italian Cooking â„¢," Joseph Poon, owner of the Joseph Poon Chef Kitchen, Marilyn from BEN FM Radio and Darryl Harmon, owner of the Water Works Restaurant. These four judges will have a hard time picking one winning entree among dozens of top of the line restaurants, all exhibiting various delicious, mouth watering samples. Which one will win?

Proceeds from this memorable event will support the continuous programs Pearl S. Buck has successfully developed, in result creating an inspirational life story and continuing legacy of uniting children with families through adoption and giving these children, most living in poverty, the opportunity to go see doctors, attend school, and the hope for a better future.
