How to make aloo gobi

New Delhi, India (prHWY.com) March 6, 2013 - I enjoy Indian meals because it is affordable and relatively basic to prepare, but much more importantly, it in no way fails to light up my eyes, nose and tastebuds with its piquant flavours and vivid colours - even around the dreariest of days. Aloo Gobi is one of my favourites, because it's filling, with no being a total carb bomb as well as the leftovers are good for a couple lunches during the week.

Aloo gobi is actually a flavorful Indian vegetarian dish made with potatoes, cauliflower and a lot of spices which makes it fragrant and mouth-watering! Try this recipe and appreciate your creation with chappati, paratha or rice and daal. It's delicious!

Serves 4 as a side dish or a lot for two as a primary

Ingridients:
1 medium cauliflower, trimmed and reduce into bite sized florets
3 medium potatoes, reduce into smallish cubes
1 inch ginger, peeled and blended to produce a paste with two tbs water
1 tbs coriander powder
¼ tsp of turmeric
1 teaspoon curry powder
½ tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp mustard seeds
two green chillies, finely chopped
Pinch of asafoetida
Salt
one hundred ml water
three tbs veg oil
½ lemon
