The Award Winning Once Makes Its West End Debut
Once the musical, is set to make its West End debut at the Phoenix Theatre London this April. The show is the story of an Irish busker and a Czech immigrant mother. The previews of this award winning musical will commence from March onwards.

The cast of the show includes Declan Bennett (Guy), Zrinka Cvitesic (Girl), Valda Aviks (Baruska), Ryan Fletcher (Svec), Aidan Kelly (Billy), Gareth O' Connor (Eamon), Michael O' Connor (Da) , Miria Parvin (Ex Girlfriend), Jos Slovick (Andre), Flora Spencer-Longhurst (Reza), Jez Unwin (Bank Manager), Gabriel Vick (Emcee). (Alternating the role of Girl's young daughter Ivanka will be Poppy-Lily Baker, Mia-Jai Bryan, Pacha Anna Green and Nancy Ann Jeans.)
Once the musical has been directed by John Tiffany, has music and lyrics by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova and book by Enda Walsh and is based on motion picture written by John Carney. The show has designs and costumes by Bob Crowley, lighting by Natasha Katz and sound by Clive Goodwin. The musical supervision and orchestration are done by Martin Lowe while movement has been done by Steven Hoggett.
The story of Once has an Irish busker and a Czech immigrant as the protagonist. They share a common love for music and that was what sparked the emotions between the duos. The show has been written by eminent Irish playwright Enda Walsh has been recipient of eight Tony Awards.
