Crown Bingo Live Presenters Go Long For Charity
Birthday broadcast to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care Great Daffodil Appeal taking place this weekend
The extended live show will feature an appearance from mind reader Peter Antonious, who will be interacting with players and joining in with studio games and chat. There's also live singing, prize draws and all the usual Bingo Studio Live fun including penny bingo, cheap tickets and live favourites such as Safecracker, Bumble Tumble and Royal Route.
Not only will players be able to win prizes, but they'll also get the satisfaction of helping a great cause just by taking part: 50% of the bingo prize pots will be donated to the Marie Curie Great Daffodil Appeal, which supports Crown Bingo's local Marie Curie Hospice in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Bingo Studio Live presenter Ian Gordon (who will be hosting the event) chose this charity, having lost his mother-in-law to cancer in June 2009. Crown Bingo has already donated over £300 to Marie Curie Cancer care and Ian himself has since raised nearly £13,000 by trekking the Grand Canyon, completing the Gateshead 10k Run, and organising charity football matches.
