Robert Pope Awarded Copyright for Proprietary Safety Tracking System

Having been in the Construction Safety field for 25 years, Robert Pope has been granted a copyright registration for his Safety Tracking System.

New London, CT (prHWY.com) February 26, 2013 - Robert Pope has achieved another great accomplishment in the field of construction safety. After being in the Construction Safety business for 25 years, and receiving awards such as the Presidents Cup for Safety, Robert Pope has copyrighted a Safety Tracking System with the U.S. Copyright Office. The date of his registration was May 18, 2012.

Residing in New London, CT, Robert Pope has been in many aspects of the safety field, holding positions for Subcontractors, Contractors, Prime Contractors, General Contractors, Construction Managers, Project Owners, Independent Safety Consultants and Insurers. Robert is presently a Safety Consultant with United Alliance Services Corporation (UASC).

Robert Pope has been a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) since 1993, and is still an active member. Along with being a member of ASSE, Robert Pope is also a certified as a Construction Health & Safety Technicians (CHST), and has been since 1995.

"Being immersed in and a part of the construction safety business for so long has taught me ways to better track safety, so I applied for a copyright on my way to better improve the system," Robert Pope says of his recent copyright registration. "With this new system, I hope to help companies improve the current way things are done regarding construction safety."

Robert Pope is an authorized OSHA Construction Trainer, among other things. He provides the OSHA 10 & 30 hour training. In the past he has served as a volunteer EMT and firefighter, was certified as an Associate Safety Professional, and even received an Outstanding Efforts towards Continuous Quality Improvement award from Tompkins Builders.
