Chana falls on weak demand, supply.
Chana futures fell on due to sluggish spot demand, rising supplies from the new season crop and expectations of an increase in output. The most-active chana contract for April delivery on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange was down 0.87 per cent at 3,423 rupees per 100 kg.

prices are expected to continue the down trend amid weak demand from exporters. Despite good hybrid quality arrivals bulk buyers are quoting lower prices in want of fresh orders from north Indian buyers. Hence, turmeric prices are expected to remain under pressure during trading session.
