Waterloo, Canada (prHWY.com) February 25, 2013 - A highly accurate LCR-meter, a display and a set of ultra-precise tweezers integrated create Smart Tweezers from Systems Inc. With surface mount technology becoming the norm for manufacturing electronics, Siborg Systems revolutionized the way to test, troubleshoot and identify these small components. The professional grade tool automatically measures Inductance, Resistance and Capacitance with just a touch of the tweezers to a component. The device automatically identifies the type of component, and changes the test parameters for the highest accuracy measurements. Other features include, Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR) measurements, on-board impedance testing, offset subtraction, adjustable test signals, variable tolerances, with a 0.2% basic accuracy in a pocket-sized device.

For European users that need their devices calibrated annually in order to stay ISO compliant, Siborg and Bokar International established the first calibration facility. Located in Poland at Production Solutions, an associate of Bokar's, will offer Central European customers a more convenient location to send their devices. Before this, customers had to send their devices abroad to New Delhi, India, Pasadena, California, or to Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, which could be a long and pricey process. This facility offers a simple solution to also guaranteeing that the device is working optimally.

Siborg and the Institute of Automation and Electrometry at the Russian Academy of Sciences in Novosibirsk, Russia. The new device will still be the dependable tool that Smart Tweezers is reputable for, but will feature a lower manufacturing cost.
