New York, NY (prHWY.com) February 25, 2013 - Understanding the evolution of careers in the beauty industry, salary trends, as well as the job market outlook for beauty professionals, is the focus of a new survey to be launched by leading beauty recruitment agency 24 Seven Inc. in partnership with Cosmetic Executive Women.

The survey will look to the membership of Cosmetic Executive Women as well as 24 Seven's network of beauty talent and hiring managers to provide insight on the attitudes and behaviors of those working in the industry. These participants will also add valued responses to 24 Seven's annual Salary and Job Market Study, now in its fourth year. Since its inception in 2009, the yearly report has become a barometer of the job market across the key industries that 24 Seven manages talent including fashion, retail, marketing, advertising, interactive/digital, E-commerce, beauty, design, events and lifestyle Brands.

"Beauty has become one of the fastest growing sectors of our business. We are seeing dramatic changes in careers in beauty across all levels - from CEO to the retail floor," explained Celeste Gudas, CEO of 24 Seven Inc. "For example, understanding the role of technology across the industry as well as having digital proficiency in all areas from communications to social media is vital for talent at all levels - even the most senior. All companies today are looking for what we call 'game changers'-- those who understand how to harness innovation and deliver new ideas, solutions and results."

Cosmetic Executive Women believes that the 24 Seven Inc. study will provide valuable insights to its members and help provide important information on the industry's future.

"Our members need access to strategic data to drive their business forward in an increasingly competitive global marketplace - especially when it pertains to attracting and retaining the best and brightest talent," said Carlotta Jacobson, President, CEW. "24 Seven is a trusted source of career information and strategic talent management advice in Beauty, and we believe this study will provide valued insights to our membership."

24 Seven and CEW are inviting industry executives at all levels to participate in this year's study. It can be found here
