Texas, TX (prHWY.com) February 22, 2013 - Spain, February 21, 2013 -- Starting in 2013, Amper, through its Brazilian subsidiary Medidata, and working in consortium with Rontan - South America's largest acoustic and visual signage equipment and special vehicle firm - will be implementing an innovative Integrated Command and Control System (ICCS) to handle public security and civil defence at major sports events.

The aim is to provide special vehicles to track alerts in real time sent by emergency agencies working at these events. This means it will be possible for all security and civil defence communications to be made from a single point, regardless of the state of the infrastructure in the place that the vehicle goes to.

Each of the World Cup venues will have two of these vehicles, with a total of 27 being deployed. The contract that the Spanish company has signed is valued at 92 million reales, or around €34 million.

Amper says this operation is part of the group's new business plan, which is being supported by its shareholder Veremonte in the markets of Latin America and Brazil.
