A holistic musical sojourn with Sunita Bhuyan

The IMC Ladies Wing invited Ms. Sunita Bhuyan, an accomplished violinist and an HR professional, who presented a holistic development for the members through the program, "Music and Melody".

Mumbai, India (prHWY.com) February 13, 2013 - The IMC Ladies Wing invited Ms. Sunita Bhuyan, an accomplished violinist and an HR professional, who presented a holistic development for the members through the program, "Music and Melody".

In today's workshop she presented the science of music therapy, the universal seven notes and "leadership through music". It demonstrated how we can develop values like continuous learning, partnerships, collaboration and fusion and assimilating ideas with the goals of the groups and organizations that one is a part of. "Traits like coaching and mentoring can be imbibed from the "guru shishya parampara" of Indian music", says Ms. Bhuyan who presented these concepts through music demos as well as interactive activities with the audience. The program also concluded with Sunita singing and playing a few numbers from her latest folk fusion album "Bihu Strings".

Ms. Sunita Bhuyan is a recipient of the Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini award for Music and disciple of her mother and guru veteran violinist Ms. Minoti Khaund and late maestro Pt V. G. Jog. She uses music as a tool for holistic development for corporate, social and academic groups and has presented music led programs at various forums in India and abroad.
