CEO John Bening Celebrates 25 Years of Success for Bening Automotive Group

John Bening's Jackson, MO car dealership business celebrates its twenty fifth anniversary this year.

Jackson, MO (prHWY.com) February 13, 2013 - CEO John Bening is pleased to announce that his successful business, Bening Automotive Group, celebrates its 25th birthday this year. John Bening will celebrate the occasion with numerous sales and promotions at his four new and used car dealerships.

"It's been a great adventure," remarked John Bening on his dealership success. "I never imagined that when I started Bening Motor Company so many years ago that I would achieve such incredible success and gain the friendship of so many loyal customers."

John Bening got his start in 1987 when he opened up his first dealership, Bening Motor Company, in Jackson, MO. Today, John Bening still owns and operates Bening Motor Company as an independent pre-owned car dealership, but he also owns three additional dealerships specializing in Ford and Mazda vehicles.

"The biggest surprise came to me when I realized that I was going to need to expand from Bening Motor Company, because I simply didn't have the space to keep up with the inventory requests of my customers," said John Bening. "And then it just kept growing!"

At one point, John Bening was operating seven dealerships in the Jackson, MO area, having built himself a veritable car dealing empire. "At that point, things got a little crazy," said John Bening. "The success was incredible, but I realized that in order to maintain the highest standards of quality, I would need to tone down my operations a little bit so that I would have the time to devote to each dealership."

Today, 25 years after his successful beginnings, John Bening owns four dealerships: the previously mentioned Bening Motor Company in Jackson, Bening Ford of Fredericktown, Bening Ford of Perryville, and Bening Mazda in Cape Girardeau, which is John Bening's home town.

For the next twenty five years? "Well, I'd like to retire someday," joked John Bening. "But really, I'm very excited to continue working with customers to develop a continuously updated inventory in line with contemporary needs and wants for automobiles. As people more and more want to be driving energy efficient cars rather than gas guzzlers, it's very important to stay on top of those kinds of trends. And I love learning about new developments in vehicle technology, so I'm excited to see what the future will bring to automobiles and my dealerships."
