Wall Mural at Art Museum Symbolizes How Much Paper is Saved with a Managed Document Review Software Program
Businesses are weighted down by hundreds, if not thousands of pounds of paper every year. Most businesses are unaware of just how much paper they are using and keeping around their office, but a new wall mural at a local St. Louis art museum will

"Our goal is to shed light on just how much paper offices and businesses use every year", said the creator of the wall mural, Wally B. Narrows. "People don't realize just how much paper is floating around their office, until they stack it all up."
The wall mural is being constructed out of one mid-sized office's stack of papers that have been recently recycled. The office had recently switched to managed document review software program.
"Offices don't really notice how much paper they are using or storing until they switch to a managed document review program", explained Narrows. "This program takes all the paper in an office and places it on a central database. It is during that process that people realize just how much paper their office has accumulated over time."
The wall mural uses all the paper that was recycled during an office's clean out of the paper documents. Wally B. Narrows took the paper and created a beautiful, artistic display that showcases the various skylines of the major cities in the United States.
"I thought I would do a paper mural of the skylines of the United States", said Narrows. "That is where most offices are located and it really just seemed fitting. The final outcome of the project is just breath-taking and beautiful."
Wally B. Narrows' wall mural is going to be touring the nation in an effort to showcase how much paper offices really use. It is hoped that people will realize just how much paper is being used and the impact it has on the environment.
"I hope that people will see that the paper that their offices are using and storing have a major impact on the environment", said Narrows. "I hope they think twice about keeping an all paper system and switch to a digital system. That is the goal I have for this wall mural tour."
The all paper wall mural is scheduled to make 50 stops across the United States. Each stop will be at a local art museum and Wally B. Narrows will being giving several talks on how offices and homes can reduce their paper consumption.
