32nd Long Night of Museums - Berlin
Each event offers a different combination of museums and a new programme, with ever more museums and initiatives joining in, such that visitors are guaranteed a diverse experience and new discoveries every time

The first Long Night of Museums, in German "Lange Nacht der Museen", took place in Berlin in 1997. Since then, the concept has spread to more than 120 cities across Europe. Almost all of the city's 180 museums and memorials have taken part in the Long Night.
The Long Night of Museums is a cultural event on which more than a hundred museums and cultural institutions show their exhibitions during the night. Visitors get the opportunity to see art collections and installations at unusual opening hours. Additionally, many other events are held such as performances and concerts.
Each event offers a different combination of museums and a new programme, with ever more museums and initiatives joining in, such that visitors are guaranteed a diverse experience and new discoveries every time.
On almost 400 square kilometres - between Glienicke Palace, the Museum at the Waterplant Friedrichshagen and the Museum of Local History Reinickendorf - more than 100 museums and cultural institutions are giving access to their exhibitions, collections and art objects throughout the night, enriched by a variety of events.
