LABORIE RECEIVES ACCREDITATION FOR ITS 2.5 DAY COMPREHENSIVE URODYMANICS COURSE

LABORIE has received approval from the California Board of Registered Nursing to be a provider of continuing education, allowing attendees to earn 11.7 contact hours of credit, in its 2.5 Day Comprehensive Urodynamics Course

Williston, VT (prHWY.com) February 6, 2013 - The 2.5 Day Comprehensive Urodynamics Course is one of many types of courses. LABORIE has to offer for Clinicians who are concerned with treating and diagnosing Pelvic Health. Both this course and our course on Demystifying Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation: A Comprehensive 2 Day Course allow attendees to earn credit hours.

LABORIE's 2.5 Day Comprehensive Urodynamics Course is designed for doctors, nurses and technicians who have some experience in Urodynamics and would like to become more knowledgeable about physiology, technique, testing and diagnostics. Maximum attendance of sixteen participants is allowed in this course. LABORIE offers the course in different locations around the country. One of our recent attendees commented, "This is an excellent program. I really enjoyed the lecture on Friday and putting it all together on Saturday by viewing actual UDS. This is a very well designed program."

The 2.5 Day Course is taught by Mikel Gray, PhD. He is a Professor and Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Urology and School of Nursing at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Dr. Gray is a nurse practitioner who completed his PhD in lower urinary tract physiology from the University of Florida. He has practiced urodynamics for more than 30 years. He is the author of the Traces Series, a set of 13 articles focusing on urodynamic testing principles and techniques. Dr. Gray is past president of SUNA and CBUNA, the association's certification board.
