Foundation Financial Group aids, landscapes Charlotte preserve

Reedy Creek Nature Preserve spans, protects 737 acres

Charlotte, NC (prHWY.com) April 29, 2011 - One of the nation's fastest-growing financial services companies helped remodel a natural habitat this month.

Foundation Financial Group's Charlotte regional employees took part in a benefit supporting the local Reedy Creek Nature Center and Preserve. The company's corporate office also made a monetary donation.

Formed in 1997, the Reedy Creek Nature Preserve protects 737 acres of natural forest habitat within Reedy Creek Park. With more than 10 miles of hiking trails, the historic reservation caters to outdoor enthusiasts. Visitors can explore a variety of terrains, while enjoying scenic views of small lakes, forests, fields, streams and wildlife. The preserve is also home to Reedy Creek Nature Center for Biodiversity Studies, located at 2900 Rocky River Rd.

Foundation Financial Group employees provided volunteer support by completing a landscaping project for the preserve. The financial services company also gave a monetary donation to Reedy Creek Nature Center and Preserve.
