A two-week series of processions, masquerades, traditional ceremonies, music and all-round festivities fills the canals, parties, squares and palaces of this ancient city. From 1 feb - 7 Feb, St Mark's Square, the theatres and the famous campi rupture into life with musical, theatrical, acrobatic and dance performances.

After 7th February, beginning with a Cocktail and Buffet Lunch reception in a private palazzo on the Grand Canal. Others parties also available like gala dinner party on the evening of February 9th, for those wishing to extend their "dream" experience during the most exciting weekend for Carnival. A buffet and an open bar accompany the main event throughout the night.

As night falls, the masked balls come to life; the gothic Palazzo Pisani-Moretta hosts the grandest. Guests arrive in gondolas along the moonlit Grand Canal for the Ballo del Doge, Mascheranda Ball or Ballo Tiepolo.
