In today's fast paced world multi tasking is the norm rather than exception.

Of course multi tasking has been around for a long long time but it was done more out of choice than by compulsion. But today if you are not getting two or three tasks done sort of simultaneously you will not have a moment to spare for yourself. So when we are working we like to pile on the work so that when we relax there is no small task left undone.

And we would love to take this method of multi tasking to the net. There though unless you have a high speed internet connection you are likely to run into problems. On the net since doing work is so much easier you can expect that you will want to do more than one thing at a time. For example you maybe chatting with a friend and visiting another site even as a song downloads from a third site. And while all this is happening a friend from overseas could call you on Skype. And if do though then you can be easily doing the multi tasking even if you are visiting sites that have lots of graphics and images and so require generous amount of bandwidth to load. What this means is you will be able to save time and not worry about some task getting left undone because the connection for all intents and purposes froze.

With modern technology making it so easy to do so many things on the net multi tasking is only going to increase in the future. And though we may be good at multitasking we must know that nothing makes it more challenging than minor avoidable distractions. Therefore if a site does not load fast enough or a friends voice on a net based call starts cracking we will have a problem.
