One need only glance introspectively at their own work habits to understand the impact that happy, satisfying working conditions have on productivity. Most Human Resource specialists working to promote employee satisfaction have read or inadvertently implemented the methods and ideas promoted by Frederick Reichheld's "The Loyalty Effect" and/or the famous 1997 "The Service Profit Chain". These studies in many ways laid the groundwork for employer/employee interactions and the models they promoted have become commonplace within companies across all fields of business.

In relevance to contemporary statistics, however, it is important that employers afford themselves the opportunity to gauge what effect satisfaction strategies are having on businesses within today's dynamic economy. In pursuing recent studies, we can look toward recent Gallup pole surveys conducted within the last six years.

According to Gallup poles, satisfied groups of employees positively affected nearly every aspect of business productivity. Compiled, the surveys indicate that satisfied employees increased:

* Customer Loyalty by 56%
* Productivity by 50%
* Employee Retention by 50%
* Workplace Safety by 50%

As a result of the positive percentile increases to businesses dynamics, the compiled survey data indicates that, for businesses utilizing strong employee satisfaction strategies, a 33% increase to company profitability occurred.

What are one of the major aspects within businesses that contribute or deter from employee satisfaction ? According to the 2010 Kaiser Family Deloitte survey, 99% percent of all surveyed employees reported that their sponsored healthcare was extremely important to them.
