Florida, NY (prHWY.com) January 14, 2013 - Dr. Larry Sonna is a seasoned medical professional with years of experience backing him. He was Attending Physician in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, at Benefis Healthcare. He provided full-service Critical Care support to the largest regional/referral center in Montana, such as medical, surgical, trauma, neurosurgical, and cardiac critical care. He has been awarded with several honors and accomplishments in his career. He was awarded with the Department of the Army Research and Development Achievement Award 2002, in recognition of the research work performed while assigned to USARIEM. He received Army Commendation Medal, for work performed as Chair of the Human Use Review Committee (IRB) at USARIEM. In the year 1995, he was honored with Meritorious Service Medal, for organizing and conducting a multi-year Combat Lifesaver training program for the 29th Infantry Division, while assigned to the 1/175th Infantry.

Over the years, Dr. Larry Sonna has performed important administrative services. He was Chair, Fellowship Research Advisory Committee, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, University of Maryland School of Medicine. He was responsible for overseeing the research activities of Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellows during their second year of Fellowship. He has previously served as Senior Medical Advisor at USARIEM. As the Medical Advisor to the Commander, he was responsible for the oversight of medical monitoring activities at USARIEM. He also wrote policies and procedures and assisted in regulatory compliance.

He is the sole proprietor and consultant at Bon Air Consulting. His works included analysis of gene expression data, and in particular Affymetrix gene chip array data. He also wrote manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication, the military, and for industry.
