Food Hospitality World opened its door in Mumbai
The 19th edition of Food Hospitality World 2013 (FHW), India's leading hospitality B2B trade show in Mumbai The exhibition showcased 200 national exhibitors, 50 international exhibitors and five countries pavilions

"Food Industry has grown tremendously", said Mr. Suresh Shetty, Health Minister, Maharashtra as he inaugurated the three-day event, FHW 2013. He added," People are travelling abroad extensively and have developed a taste for new cuisines. The FDI will also give a tremendous boost to horticulture and food-based products, especially in the areas of transport and warehousing. More events like FHW should take place in Mumbai".
Mr.Suresh Shetty was accompanied by Anuradha Agrawal, VP, The Indian Express, Felice Invernizzi, Corporate Marketing Director, Group Commercial Department, Fiera Milano and Mel Lanvers Shah, MD Hanover Milano Fairs India at the inauguration.
FHW 2013, played a host to The Great Indian Culinary Challenge (GICC) - a contest of skill, finesse and presentation from the region's most talented Chef's. RICH's - 'The Chocolate Master Piece' saw more than 150 chefs from various leading Hotels & Hotel Management Institute competing at GICC, using RICH'S Cream and Premium Compound Chocolate. Grand Hayatt, Mumbai bagged the Gold honor in the competition. The winners were awarded on the last day of the trade show for their endeavor.

During these three days, FHW 2013 Mumbai witnessed 200 national exhibitors and 50 international exhibitors and five country pavilions interacting with importers, distributors, hotel and restaurant purchase managers, food service professionals, chefs, sommeliers, purchasers, trade bodies, hoteliers, restaurateurs, caterers, F&B directors, hospitality interiors specifiers, wholesalers, etc.
FHW aimed at being the right channel which allowed both vendors/suppliers and hospitality professionals who came together to tap mutually beneficial business opportunities. The main national exhibitors include Rich Graviss Products Pvt Ltd; RAK Ceramics; FNS International; Star White Laundry, Aura Essentials, Mittal International, Shanti Metals, Kitchen Solutions, Lavazza, Kamani Oils, Springfit, Oasis Ceramics, etc. Some of the international suppliers include Fungo e Tartufo, Elframo, Salumificio Gandolfi, Dr Schär, Schreyoegg, Kellerei St Pauls, Fuchs J, Frulana, Gruppo Izzo, Casa Vinicola Caldirola, Galantino, La delizia 2000, Divella, etc.
"Other featured events included panel discussion like 'Hospitality Knowledge Exchange' on Bartending & Mixology, 'Hospitality Think Tank' on Hotel Sales & Marketing and 'Power of Purchase' for the Purchase Manager fraternity.
