Community Outreach Performed by Marcus Rolls

Marcus Rolls believes in supporting his community through school organizations and the Rotary Club of Houston

Houston, TX (prHWY.com) January 4, 2013 - There are countless people who dedicate a large part of their free time or spare money to helping people in their community around them. If people aren't involved in a professional organization then they may do small things like volunteer for animal shelters, soup kitchens, clothing drives, etc. Not everyone a dedicated member of a community service organization.

Marcus Rolls is proud to be a working professional with strong ties to his community. He has lived in Houston, Texas his whole life and he is excited to be among the numbers of other professionals like himself who push to make their local and international communities better places to live. Professionals like Marcus Rolls have the financial means and connections to get a lot done within their community.

Marcus Rolls found it was easy to serve his community through the Rotary Club of Houston. Not only is this a noteworthy organization to be part of, but they have a variety of committees targeted to help different aspects of their community. "There is a committee targeted towards helping youth and education, another committee is to promote and bring awareness to public health concerns... Really, you find what areas you want to get involved in and join the committee, there is even a committee just to bring members of the club together for continued fellowship," says Marcus Rolls.

The Rotary Club of Houston plans a number of outreach events every year. "One of the latest events was giving away the Rotary Lombardi Award. The award goes to a college football lineman, but before the award was given away, nominees met at a local Houston middle school to discuss the importance of staying in school," says Marcus Rolls. And Marcus Rolls was proud to be present at the event which took place not too far from where he himself grew up as a child.

Reaching out to children is just one way that Marcus Rolls has helped out in his community. He has been active in a number of community events but the middle school outreach was the most current. Marcus Rolls looks forward to years of service through the club.
