Dubai eGovernment honours basic services employees
Move is in response to Mohammed Bin Rashid's Thank You initiative

In response to the "Thank You" initiative, which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Dubai eGovernment Department has honoured its basic services employees at its headquarters in HH Ruler's Court in Dubai.
Expressing his appreciation for their efforts, H.E. Ahmed Bin Humaidan, Director General of Dubai eGovernment Department, presented gifts and certificates of appreciation to the honoured employees, in the presence of departmental directors and heads of sections.
Bin Humaidan said: "This category of employees is honoured in response to the kind gesture of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in which he asked all not to mark any celebrations for his 7th Accession Day but instead called on everybody to thank basic services employees."
Bin Humaidan added: "HH Sheikh Mohammed's initiative highlights the prudent leadership's support for workers and its keenness on protecting their rights in appreciation of their significant and efficient role in ensuring the progress of our community. The initiative also adds to HH Sheikh Mohammed's previous instructions to honour orphans and mothers in the previous two years. For our part, by honouring these employees we want to strengthen their commitment to the nation and highlight the fact that we owe them all thanks for their efforts and want them to know that their services, no matter how minor they are for others, are highly appreciated and contribute to the betterment of the emirate."
For their part, the honoured employees expressed their gratefulness and gratitude for HH Sheikh Mohammed's noble initiative, which was launched on the 7th accession of His Highness as Ruler of Dubai; an occasion that is dear to all UAE citizen and residents.
